Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies, a world leader in lightweight composite components for transportation, seeks a dedicated maintenance technician. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems to keep production running.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders.
• Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques and monitor compliance.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception.
• Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner.
• Support work flows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions.
• Provide PM for facilities equipment and production equipment.
• Suggest modifications and improvements to PM.
• Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work orders.
• Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair.
• Monitor equipment performance.
• Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds.
• Review production fixtures and provide input.
• Review and provide input on new facility equipment.
• Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site.
• Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
