Qualifications

  • Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing facility.
  • Process technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate die attach equipment (Datacon, ESEC, vacuum reflow) for production and NPI builds.
  • Develop and debug die attach programs and dispense patterns; monitor workflow priorities.
  • Perform critical process measurements such as bond line thickness (BLT) and die shear testing.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; support product disposition and documentation.
  • Train operators and assist with advanced packaging processes (lid attach programming, epoxy attach development).
  • Support Lean manufacturing, 5S, and line efficiency improvements.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Process Engineering Technicians to join a leading semiconductor client in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating die attach equipment, including Datacon, ESEC, and vacuum reflow systems, to support both production and new product introduction (NPI) builds. This role independently runs production lots, develops and debugs die attach programs and dispense patterns, monitors workflow priorities, and performs critical process measurements such as bond line thickness (BLT) and die shear testing. The position plays a key role in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, supporting product disposition activities, maintaining process documentation and build reports, and driving continuous process improvements.

In addition, the role serves as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing by training operators, supporting production needs, and assisting with advanced packaging processes such as lid attach programming, epoxy attach development, and process parameter optimization. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to Lean manufacturing, 5S practices, and overall line efficiency improvements.

Skills and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (technician work- maintenance and troubleshooting)

  • Possess an understanding of DoE, SPC.

  • This factory position requires wearing cleanroom attire and protective equipment; Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and standing for extended periods of time will be required. - Associates degree or above in a STEM discipline

  • Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing facility

  • Process technician experience
