Carolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC, is seeking detail-oriented individuals for the Manufacturing Process Department. The Process Technician will verify processes, troubleshoot equipment, and perform root-cause analysis with support from Maintenance and Engineering.

Responsibilities include downtime recording, monitoring scrap rates, and standardizing parameters. The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing troubleshooting and machine setup, plus good communication and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• 1-3 years’ experience in setting up production machines.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate.
• Willingness to learn Carolina Poly processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Downtime recording: monitor daily reports and focus on problem areas.
• Monitor scrap rates and resolve issues from downtime reporting and production feedback.
• Standardize parameters and verify operator knowledge; assist on-line skill-building.
• Liaise between production and maintenance; support projects to improve processes.
• Operate equipment and participate in root-cause analysis of issues.
