Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Process Technician for the night shift to operate extrusion and blow-m molding lines in a clean, climate-controlled plant in Pineville, LA.

You will monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure high-quality plastic containers for leading brands. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in manufacturing, and/or technical certification in Industrial, Electrical, Robotic, Mechanical, or Automotive fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or Secondary Education in Industrial, Electrical, Robotic, Mechanical, or Automotive Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe and climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure) to produce high-quality containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Perform quality checks to assure customer specifications (e.g., bottle weights and dimensions).
