Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking a Process Technician for a fully on-site role five days a week. The position supports process engineering across multiple areas in a high-precision manufacturing environment, with evening/ weekend shifts to sustain production.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on experience with thin-film processes and high-precision equipment. Safety, quality, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide off-shift coverage (evenings and/or weekends) of process engineering activities across multiple functional areas.
• Respond to production line down scenarios; assess root cause and adjust parameters to resume volume production.
• Document activities and communicate results clearly to the team.
• Coordinate containment and countermeasure actions in cross-functional settings.
• Send daily reports to the team and maintain accurate records.

This role will report to Factory Engineering Director and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.Responsibilities:Provide off-shift coverage (evenings and/or weekends) of all process engineering activities across multiple functional areas for fuel cell manufacturing.Respond promptly to production line down scenarios, such as measurements out of spec, defects observed at automated visual inspection or manual visual inspection, defects on incoming parts, etc. Assess the situation, determine root cause, and adjust parameters to return process under control and resume volume production. Document activities appropriately.Understand and react to abnormal events and coordinate containment and countermeasure activities in a cross functional environmentCommunicate clearly to co-workers and send out daily reports to teamEfficiency and Workmanship :Ensure work meets or exceeds company workmanship standards. Continuously improve efficiency.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred.Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical certifications or relevant coursework with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or related environment.Hands on experience in thin-film processesHands on experience with operating and troubleshooting of high precision machineryStrong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to technical issues.Ability to follow direction, meet deadline, and collaborate in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written skill setAdhere to safety requirements and ability to work in controlled environment wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE).Salary Ranges:$28.02 - $40.32
