Job summary

ETS is seeking a Process Technician for an in-person role in Plattsburgh, NY. The position supports maintenance and technical operations on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will install, start up, and shut down machinery, maintain records, and train staff on equipment operation and safety, while collaborating with operators and management to ensure uptime and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and electronic components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate computer skills and experience with PLC programming.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to safety and ability to train others on safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Install, start up, and shut down machinery following safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate performance and maintenance records for equipment.
• Assist and train other maintenance and technical staff on equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Your day-to-day as a Process Technician:
