Job summary

Aleron is seeking a Process Technician to join our Bolingbrook, IL and Dallas, TX operations. You will operate and maintain material growth reactors and other process equipment to ensure materials meet specifications, while supporting a cross-functional team of technicians and engineers.

Candidates should have an Associate's degree and at least 2 years in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and 2+ years in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience reading specs, operation sheets, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
  • Hands-on testing, inspecting, repairing assemblies; soldering a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, organization, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain material growth reactors and other process equipment to produce materials meeting defined specifications and quality standards
  • Provide technical support to technicians, scientists, and other engineers on components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment

Qualifications

What Sets You Apart
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering specifications, operation sheets, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Hands‑on experience testing, inspecting, and repairing electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies; soldering, wire bonding, or machine tool experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, guide other technicians, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to safely handle and assemble small, delicate components.
