Job summary

Philip Morris International (PMI) in the United States is hiring a Manufacturing Process Technician to support safety and quality while achieving production goals. You will operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance.

You will monitor machinery, complete quality checks, and document production data, while collaborating with Quality teams to prevent issues and drive continuous improvement on downtime and waste.

Qualifications

  • Technical training or strong mechanical aptitude required.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods.
  • Must work safely with PPE and follow safety protocols.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills; legally allowed to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Your Day-to-Day

As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you will support our Safety and Quality culture while helping achieve production goals. You will operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
  • Adjust equipment, perform basic maintenance, and resolve minor mechanical issues.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and production plans.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and PPE standards.
  • Complete quality checks and production documentation.
  • Partner with Quality teams to identify and prevent issues.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and waste.
  • Communicate effectively during shift hand-offs.
  • Use digital tools to record and track production data.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Technical training or strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely while using required PPE.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Hourly Rate: Starts at $27/hour, plus shift differential for nights and weekends.
