Del Mar College is seeking a Skills Trainer for the Process Technology Pool on a part-time, as-needed basis in Corpus Christi. The role supports faculty with instruction, safety, and diverse teaching methods, scheduling across multiple times/locations.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and five years of process technology experience; an Associate’s degree in Process Technology is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years documented process technology experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Must possess the organizational and communication skills necessary to be an effective Skilled Trainer and the aptitudes to assist both new and returning students achieve their educational goals and objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Assist faculty with assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need.
• Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students with differing backgrounds.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
• Assist in evaluating students to measure progress toward achievement of stated course outcomes.
