Job summary

Pepper Source is seeking a Process Tech III to operate mixing equipment and blend ingredients into products for processing. You will verify ingredients, load tanks, start the mixer, adjust controls, and ensure production paperwork is followed.

This hourly, first-shift role requires English literacy, ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English; read safety instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds 100–200 times per shift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients and reach target consistency.
• Verifies ingredients, loads into tanks, starts mixer and adjusts controls.
• Ensures In-Process Spec sheet and production paperwork are followed.
• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, kettles, pumps, lines and equipment.
• Performs duties of Total Quality Lead and other Process Techs as needed.
• Uses tablet to monitor production goals and line performance.
