Job summary

Pepper Source is seeking a Process Tech III on the 2nd shift to operate the mixing equipment and blend ingredients into compounds for production. The role requires following production paperwork, verifying ingredients, and maintaining equipment during the process.

The position offers an hourly non-exempt status with a 3:00pm-11:30pm schedule and overtime as needed. Applicants should be able to lift and stand for long periods and read safety documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Verifies ingredients prior to mixing batches.
• Loads ingredients into mixing tank and/or blender.
• Starts machine and adjusts valves to aid blending and densifying the mixture.
• Verifies the In-Process Spec sheet and production paperwork are followed.
• Unloads mixture into kettles, totes, drums, or hoppers.
• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, kettles, pumps, pipes, blender, and hopper.
• Performs duties of Total Quality Lead in their absence.
