Sunshine Minting Inc. is seeking a Process Specialist to drive manufacturing process development in coordination with New Product Development and Quality teams.
You will establish timelines and budgets, optimize production, and improve existing processes for efficiency and quality across departments. Responsibilities include analyzing results, maintaining ERP routing data, and supporting product design and customer specifications.

The Process Specialist is responsible for selecting equipment and developing operational aspects of new products in conjunction with the New Product Development team. Establishing and monitoring timelines and budgets (costs), reporting and facilitating communication across all of Manufacturing, Design, Tooling and Die Manufacture and Sales and Marketing (Customer Services). Responsible for redefining and improving existing production processes with a view to continuous improvements.
Reports to the Production Manager and will provide technical advice to EVP of Operations and Operations Managers for the North American and Chinese SMI facilities on all manufacturing processes.

Two-year college degree in mechanical discipline or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in manufacturing process development preferred. Proficient computer skills with 3-5 years' experience in Excel. Advanced math skills and statistics preferred.
As an employee, you may be required to work in cool to extremely hot environments. There is potential for exposure to fuels, oils, cleaning solvents and fumes from machinery. PPE and or job specific safety equipment may be required.
