Job summary

Tallgrass Energy is seeking a PSM Coordinator/Manager (Finance) to develop, implement and audit Process Safety Management programs for its pipeline operations. The role requires a minimum five years in oil and gas, strong OSHA PSM knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office, with travel as needed.

Responsibilities include leading hazard assessments, coordinating safety inspections, training teams, and ensuring compliance across engineering, construction, and operations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in oil & gas risk assessment, safety engineering and hazard management.
• Experience in technical safety, systems safety and process safety tools/techniques.
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA PSM regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate process hazards assessments and support hazard review investigations.
• Manage PSM processes across pipeline operations, E&C and corporate teams.
• Assess engineering/construction projects with Operations and Project Managers to ensure compliance.
• Prepare sites for internal and corporate Process Safety inspections.
• Identify risk reduction opportunities and document control strategies.
• Train Operations, Engineering and Construction teams on procedures.
• Audit and enforce safety procedures, conduct trainings for employees and contractors.
• Serve as SME on safety matters and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain safety culture and ensure compliance with work schedules and deadlines.
• Support non-traditional hours and travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
