Job summary

ADM is seeking a Process Safety Engineer at the Marshall Corn Plant to lead the implementation of ADM’s progressive Process Safety program, including PSM and PDP systems. The role is based in Marshall with flexibility to engage across other plants in the business unit, reporting to the Safety Manager.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PSM experience, a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, and strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities for driving continuous risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PSM experience in chemical manufacturing or agricultural processing facilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills with a results-focused approach.
• Strong leadership, change management and project/program management skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills; proactive communicator.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Process Safety Risk Assessments and incident investigations.
• Develop, implement and manage PSM programs and PDP systems.
• Provide Process Safety training to plant leadership and engineers.
• Conduct process safety audits and assessments; maintain documentation.
• Review and approve MOC requests and safety devices related to process changes.
• Share safety alerts and best practices to promote learning.
