Job summary

ADM is seeking a Total Process Safety Engineer to lead the TPS program across Lincoln and Fremont Oilseeds facilities. Based at the Lincoln plant, you will own implementation, ensure compliance, and drive a safety-first culture for a ~115-employee operation with oversight of a second facility in Fremont.

You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate with the TPS Technology Team to advance process safety goals and continuous risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• 2+ years of process safety experience in chemical or agricultural facilities.
• Experience applying the 14 elements of PSM.
• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership, change management and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process safety program for the facility: implement, manage, maintain and improve.
• Coordinate process safety activities at the facility.
• Lead the facility’s TPS Committee.
• Establish a safety culture focused on risk reduction and incident prevention.
• Monitor and report TPS performance and drive improvements with leadership.
• Participate in PHAs and action plans with the TPS Technology Team.
• Lead or facilitate local TPS incident investigations and share best practices.
• Serve as Process Safety Reviewer on MOC requests.
• Act as TPS representative on improvement and capital projects.
• Provide TPS training to plant leadership and engineers.
