Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene preferred; or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university; or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 Process Safety Management (PSM) or equivalent regulatory requirements.
• Experience writing, developing, and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Experience leading and managing small projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical and implementation support in safety, occupational health, process safety, and environmental areas.
• May provide consultation to the line on safety issues.
• Participates in audits and assists in corrective action plans based on audit results.
• Assists with development and implementation of OSHA-related programs.
• Participates in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
