Job summary

RSM is seeking a Risk Consulting Intern for a Summer Internship in New York. You will work with various client sizes and industries, gaining hands-on client experience with access to client management levels.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a BA/BS from an accredited university.
• Accounting (preferred), Finance, or Data & Analytics majors.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to assigned client locations may be required with reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management abilities.
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism.
• CPA certification or working towards certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projects.
• Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients; deliver reports and discuss results with clients.
• Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
• Complete client projects efficiently in accordance with the project timeline and critical dates.
• Leverage proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results and recommendations.
