Jobgether is seeking a Process R&D Manager based in the United States to lead development, scale-up, and deployment of innovative chemical manufacturing processes across diverse technologies. You will drive cost-effective solutions, mentor teams, and collaborate with global centers, engineering, and operations to deliver safe, economically viable processes.

The role emphasizes ownership of early-stage projects, technology transfer, and overseeing pilot-scale studies through to full-scale plant

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of post-graduate industry experience.
• Ability to define, own, and execute R&D programs, especially early-stage projects.
• Hands-on experience with tech transfer, pilot-plant or full-scale plant construction/operations.
• Know-how of chemical unit operations, equipment, and safety considerations.
• Strong technical judgment, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Aufgaben

• Lead development, scale-up, and industrial implementation of new processes.
• Assess technical/economic feasibility and support engineering decisions.
• Drive technology transfer and licensing across projects and sites.
• Define objectives and manage multiple global R&D programs.
• Develop global R&D methodologies, standards, and piloting approaches.
• Oversee pilot plant design, testing, and scale-up activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and management.
