Position Summary
Inspects products and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Responsibilities

1. Selects products and tests for qualities such as dimensions, flash, short shots, contamination, burns, and color.
2. Conducts continuous audits of production workstations.
3. Records test data and applies statistical quality control procedures.
4. Evaluates data and records on in-process sheets at each machine.
5. Alerts supervisors to any quality issues or potential problems.
6. Monitors machine operators for compliance with instructions.
7. Properly labels all cartons and updates labels as needed.
8. Logs discrepancies in the corrective action log.
9. Performs visual inspection, weighing, and packing of parts as needed.
10. Prepares graphs or enters data into computer systems for analysis.
11. Supports continuous improvement initiatives like LEAN & HPT.
12. Adheres to safety regulations and quality standards.
13. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
14. Works overtime as required.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED; 3-6 months related experience or equivalent education and experience.
2. Some computer skills.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to work well with others.

Conditions of Employment

This position requires meeting U.S. export compliance and citizenship eligibility requirements.

The base salary range is $20.25-$31.25 per hour, with actual compensation based on various factors. The position is eligible for incentive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement, and more.
