Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Quality Technician to join the team on 2nd shift. The technician will support the quality group and production team by conducting troubleshooting and resolving PQ-related issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform print, bindery, packaging, and mailroom audits and inspections as per training materials.
2. Inspect problem runs and perform equipment quality tests such as motion quality, signal strength, and MICR sampling.
3. Evaluate and count spoilage.
4. Support production teams with quality questions.
5. Produce and process samples for QCS.
6. Conduct research and root cause analysis.
7. Attend daily team meetings as the quality resource.
8. Research and identify late work.
9. Run ready-to-sort reports.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good typing skills.
• Experience with Harland Clarke processes and procedures.
• Willingness to train and increase knowledge of quality duties.
• Strong technical and computer skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Equipment and Software Utilized

• Computer, keyboard, and mouse.
• Experience with MS Office.

Communication and Contacts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must effectively communicate with QCS, Account Managers, and Priority One Managers. Regular interaction with team members on the floor and in meetings.

Decision Making

Ability to make fact-based decisions in collaboration with the shift Team Leader.

Physical Requirements

Involves bending, walking, standing, kneeling for 8-10 hours daily, and lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.

Additional Information

Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday - Friday
