Job description

Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician to join the quality team, focusing on quality improvement projects and change initiatives. The role involves various tasks within the quality department in a production environment, providing opportunities to develop critical thinking skills and advance in Smart Manufacturing.

Current Open Shifts:

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Supporting subassembly & final assembly operations, testing, and inspection of assemblies and components.
2. Performing final inspections and preparing quality reports.
3. Verifying repaired units meet standards of appearance, functionality, and quality.
4. Reading prints and interpreting codes on wires and components.
5. Inspecting refurbished products before shipment.
6. Providing feedback on trends or failure conditions to supervisors.
7. Assisting Quality Engineers with measurement analysis and other duties.
8. Ensuring test equipment calibration and functionality.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Experience troubleshooting and repairing servers at the subassembly level.
2. High school diploma or GED.
3. Experience as an Inspector or quality technician.
4. High visual acuity and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
6. Willingness to learn new applications and programs.
7. Ability to analyze technical information and communicate effectively.
8. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
