Job summary

Pyramid Semiconductor, part of the HEICO group, is seeking a hands-on Process & Quality Engineer in Sunnyvale to strengthen and improve die attach and wire bonding processes. The role involves working with production equipment, tooling, fixtures, and packaging while contributing to quality management and compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in semiconductor packaging or microelectronics assembly.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Experience reading engineering drawings with tolerances.
• Strong written and verbal communication in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to conduct root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve die attach, wire bonding, and related assembly processes.
• Develop process parameters, work instructions, travelers, and inspection criteria.
• Design fixtures and tooling to improve manufacturability, repeatability, quality, and operator safety.
• Provide hands-on production support and implement corrective actions.
• Support ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance and audits.
• Lead or support RCA and CAPA activities.
