Job summary

Blue Current is seeking a Process Quality Engineer to build foundational quality infrastructure across lab to manufacturing. You’ll define what “good” looks like and help the organization scale with high-quality data and disciplined processes.

You will lead CVA initiatives, develop SPC controls, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure measurement reliability and product quality as the company grows.

Qualifications

• MS or BS with 2+ years of relevant experience in batteries or electrochemical devices.
• Experience designing and implementing a QMS in a fast-paced startup.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Establish scalable processes, risk controls, and governance for a fast-moving product development environment.
• Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs and QC test methods for repeatable execution.
• Define CTQ attributes for materials, processes, and products and monitor them.
• Build data-collection and reporting systems to improve visibility of manufacturing performance.
• Lead RCA activities to reduce variation, improve yield, and prevent failures.
