Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a cross-functional Process Engineer to oversee projects in New Jersey, drive process improvements, and support other facilities as needed. The role requires strong engineering background, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, leading capital projects, and collaborating across maintenance, operations, and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient solutions with ROI justification.

Qualifications

• B.S. Engineering required in related field.
• Extensive knowledge of engineering concepts and manufacturing procedures.
• Experience with capital project implementation and management.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking for data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Windows, Outlook, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects and update processes for NJ operations.
• Analyze production data and identify plant improvements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Plant Engineers and departments to implement solutions safely and efficiently.
• Lead capital project evaluation, ROI analysis, and documentation for approval.
• Support purchasing and manage project delivery to completion.
• Promote a safe working environment and train staff on new practices.
