ABOUT THE ROLE

S&S Activewear is seeking a strategic and results-driven Distribution Performance & Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across our distribution network. This role is responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, enhancing compliance and training programs, and leveraging data to optimize productivity, safety, and service levels. The ideal candidate will serve as a key cross-functional leader, driving positive change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead the identification, development, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across all distribution centers.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to eliminate waste, streamline processes, and enhance throughput.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and integrate relevant insights into operational workflows.

Compliance & Standardization

  • Ensure consistent adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all facilities.
  • Drive the adoption of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with safety, HR, and operational leadership to reinforce a culture of accountability and discipline.

Training & Capability Building

  • Develop, implement, and refine training programs for warehouse associates, supervisors, and leadership, focusing on operational skills, safety, and best practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback mechanisms, and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training interventions to improve performance.

Data Analytics & Performance Management

  • Design and manage performance dashboards and KPIs to track operational efficiency, service levels, labor productivity, and cost drivers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to investigate performance gaps and lead cross-functional efforts to address them.
  • Work with IT and analytics teams to ensure the right tools and data visibility are available for informed decision-making.

WHAT WE'RE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience leading training or compliance programs in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with a focus on continuous improvement or operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with WMS, LMS, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-site initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and lead through change at multiple levels of the organization.
