American Nitrile is seeking a Processing Engineer to own day-to-day process performance on dip lines. You will set and verify process parameters, investigate deviations to root cause, and drive trials and improvements to raise first-pass yield and reduce cost per thousand gloves.

You will coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance, support line startups, and ensure compliance with FDA/ISO quality systems while maintaining safe operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline; or an associate degree plus four years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Two or more years in a continuous or high-volume manufacturing process role.
• Working knowledge of applied statistics for production data: variation, capability, and sampling.
• Proficiency in Excel, including building and interpreting trend charts from process data.
• Able to write a technical summary a non-technical reader can act on.

Aufgaben

• Hold assigned lines within approved process windows for chemical processes and oven profiles.
• Verify setpoints against specifications at shift start and after changes; correct deviations.
• Trail and trend key parameters to detect drifts before limits are reached.
• Lead first-line troubleshooting of process-related defects and yield loss and escalate when needed.
• Support line startup, shutdown, and recovery ensuring line is in spec before product moves forward.
• Review in-process and finished-product results and act on adverse trends.
• Execute and document validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) as assigned.
• Keep work instructions matched to actual line runs and initiate document changes when divergent.
