Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Program Operations Analyst in the College of Arts & Sciences to analyze, document, and improve business processes across HR, Finance, and General Operations. The role leads SOP development, governance, and user-friendly documentation while supporting automation and centralized policy repositories.

Based on a Seattle campus location, the role operates Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with the possibility of up to two remote workdays per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, related field, or equivalent.
Experience in higher education operations preferred.
Experience developing SOPs, policies, workflows, and docs desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Analyze, document, standardize, and improve CAS processes across HR, Finance and General Ops.
Develop SOPs, workflows, and governance to ensure consistency and accessibility.
Create user-friendly documentation and process diagrams for diverse audiences.
Partner with stakeholders to identify standardization and improvement opportunities.
Support automation efforts and maintain centralized repositories for policies and procedures.
