Job summary

Ascend Performance Materials is seeking a Processor in Texas to safely operate the manufacturing process for the assigned unit and support production plans. You will monitor day-to-day operations, perform minor maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus relevant experience or education in process technology; strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating chemical plant processes or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain day-to-day unit operations.
• Conduct daily minor maintenance repairs.
• Perform HRP/JSA/Safe Work Permitting for unit operations.
• Apply statistical tools to enhance product quality and participate in improvement teams.
• Communicate operations status with peers, managers and customers.
• Assist with training of new employees as required.
• Startup, shutdown, isolation and decontamination of plant equipment per policies.
• Understand and comply with government regulatory duties from federal/state agencies.
• Participate on improvement teams as needed.
• Commit to a 2-year Emergency Response Team assignment from hire date.
