Job summary

Ascend Performance Materials seeks a Processor to safely operate the manufacturing unit, supporting production plans and ensuring zero injuries and safe processes. You will monitor day-to-day operations, perform minor maintenance, and handle safety permits while applying statistics to improve quality.

You will train new staff, manage startup/shutdown/decontamination, and ensure regulatory compliance. A strong shift-work capability and teamwork are essential for success at Ascend.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Valid US driver license required.
• An Associate degree in Process Technology or 1 year of chemical operator experience OR 4 years of active military experience in a technical role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain day-to-day unit operations.
• Conduct daily minor maintenance repairs.
• Perform HRP/JSA/Safe Work Permitting for unit operations.
• Apply statistical tools to improve product quality; join improvement teams.
• Communicate operations status with peers, managers and customers.
