Job summary

Dow Texas is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to join a safety‑driven team responsible for monitoring basic control systems, operating rotating shifts, and coordinating maintenance as needed to ensure reliable production. You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve process issues and uphold safety standards.

Qualified applicants will meet one of several criteria, including an Associate's degree with science coursework, military experience, or 5+ years in chemical

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have a current, valid United States driver license to operate site vehicles and equipment.
• Must meet at least ONE of the following: Associate's Degree with specified coursework; 3+ years of military training/experience; 5+ years of relevant chemical & manufacturing process operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates and transfer of products.
• Control, monitor and adjust all control systems and manually operated equipment.
• Identify equipment requiring maintenance and issue Safe Work Permits for maintenance and project work.
• Serve as a resource for other Operators/Technicians on tasks and prioritization of work.
• Carry out tasks per assigned task lists and uphold safety and environmental stewardship.
