Job summary

Dow Chemical in Texas is seeking a Chemical/Manufacturing Process Operator to perform routine operation of control systems and monitor key process variables. You will work in a team, resolve deviations, and complete required paperwork while maintaining strong safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications include 18+, a valid US driver’s license, and one of: an Associate's degree with science/tech coursework, 3+ years of military training/experience, or 5+ years of chemical/manufacturing

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have a valid US driver's license to operate site vehicles and equipment.
• Three ways to meet qualifications: Associate's degree with specified science/tech courses and English/communication classes; 3+ years of military training/experience; 5+ years of chemical/manufacturing operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
• Control and adjust all control systems and manually operated equipment.
• Identify equipment needing maintenance and issue Safe Work Permits for maintenance.
• Serve as a resource to other Operators and Technicians and prioritize tasks.
• Complete tasks per the task list with a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
