Job summary

Dow is seeking a Process Operator to join our Lake Jackson, TX site. You will monitor basic control systems, adjust equipment, identify maintenance needs, and ensure safe, compliant operation while prioritizing environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must have a valid United States driver license to operate site vehicles.
• Must meet at least ONE of the following:
• 1) Associate's Degree with required coursework in science/tech fields and communications.
• 2) 3+ years of relevant military training/experience.
• 3) 5+ years of Chemical & Manufacturing Process Operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates; transfer products.
• Control, monitor, and adjust all control systems and manually operated equipment.
• Identify equipment requiring maintenance.
• Clear and tag equipment and issue Safe Work Permits for maintenance/work projects.
• Act as a resource for other Operators/Technicians on tasks and priorities.
• Perform tasks assigned per task list.
• Commit to safety and environmental stewardship in all duties.
• Must complete technical testing after meeting minimum qualifications; interviews scheduled based on position requirements.
