Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for our Dalton, GA plant. The role focuses on operating and adjusting lines to optimize production of CV products, monitoring key parameters, and ensuring high quality through regular inspections.

You will also participate in trials, troubleshoot issues, and support line changes while maintaining clean, safe work practices. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in an industrial setting, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher preferred.
• Experience in an industrial environment is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and processes.
• Strong teamwork and urgency to meet production goals.
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust lines for CV products to optimize production.
• Monitor parameters and collect data to ensure quality.
• Inspect product characteristics regularly for A-grade acceptability.
• Read charts/graphs and respond to process changes.
• Perform line walks to verify quality and housekeeping.
• Assist in process trials and in troubleshooting quality issues.
• Develop/update equipment operating procedures and support line changeovers.
• Escalate unresolved failures to supervision or engineering.
