Nevada Gold Mines is hiring a Process Operator for the Carlin, NV site to ensure safe, efficient operation of grinding, crushing, and leaching circuits, autoclaves, boilers, and supporting systems. The role involves monitoring water and slurry flows, handling reagents, and maintaining parameter control across multiple processing stages.

Candidates should have a strong safety record, ability to work with minimal supervision, and prior experience in a processing facility or mining environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, including working in extreme conditions
• Proven safety and attendance record
• Experience in processing facilities or mining environments preferred
• Experience handling chemicals and reagents preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct area exams to identify hazards and document unresolved conditions
• Inspect equipment to identify defects and initiate corrective actions or work requests
• Perform detailed equipment inspections and document deficiencies
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within limits and monitor process flows
• Ensure sampling is performed at designated intervals and results are logged
• Operate assigned circuits to meet regulatory and site standards
• Execute LOTO and troubleshooting steps with the team
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned; work rotating shifts (nights/days) is essential
