Job summary

PepsiCo in Frankfort, Indiana, is seeking a plant technician to monitor process equipment and ensure safe, efficient operation of lines producing Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. You’ll collect plant measurements, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work weekends/holidays/off-shift as required.
  • Monitors process control systems and adjusts equipment to maintain quality.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor process equipment and conditions using process control systems.
  • Collect and report plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs.
  • Perform analytical checks, adjust control systems, and operate equipment based on data.
  • Determine root causes of deviations through troubleshooting and RCA.
  • Perform routine maintenance and equipment repairs.
