Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a production roles team member to monitor process equipment and control systems in a fast-paced environment. You will collect measurements related to performance, quality, and costs, and report results to support efficient operations.

You will perform analytical checks, adjust control settings, troubleshoot deviations, and conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Weekend, holiday, and off-shift work required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist with or without accommodation.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor process equipment and conditions using process control and information systems (levels, temperature, pressure, flow).
  • Collect and report plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs yields.
  • Perform analytical checks, adjust control systems and manually operated equipment using data.
  • Determine root causes of deviations via troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Perform process equipment troubleshooting, routine repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications

  • You are at least 18 years of age or older
  • You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
  • You are able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist (e.g. a twin-size mattress) with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • You are able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant

Monitor process control systems and adjust equipment to produce beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos safely and efficiently. Your technical expertise and problem-solving ensure consistent quality products reach communities reliably.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitoring process equipment and conditions using process control and process information systems (e.g., process levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates)
  • Collecting and reporting plant measurements related to performance, asset utilization, quality, and costs yields
  • Performing analytical checks, adjusting control systems, and manually operated equipment based on process and lab data
  • Determining root causes of deviations in process, product or equipment performance through use of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis
  • Performing process equipment troubleshooting, routine equipment repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance
