Job summary

You will oversee rendering, manage material flow to cooker, monitor temperatures and steam, and operate pollution and boiler systems. The role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and flexibility for night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Experience in rendering facilities or production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical rendering or process equipment preferred.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Strong teamwork and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
• Maintain steady flow of material to cooker.
• Maintain cooker temperature, rate, and steam at peak operating levels.
• Monitor evaporation rate and rate per hour.
• Operate pollution control system including air/odor control system and wastewater control.
• Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all equipment in process.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety per company rules.
