Job summary

Grain Processing Corporation in Washington, Indiana, is hiring Process Operators to operate, monitor, and optimize grain processing lines. You will troubleshoot issues, collect quality samples, and maintain accurate records in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, production systems, and electronic documentation.
  • Strong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Able to lift up to 55 pounds and wear required PPE.
  • Willing to work a 12-hour rotating schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust processing equipment to maintain safe, efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, partnering with maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Own daily operations of assigned processes while meeting production, quality, environmental, and safety goals.
  • Collect samples, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate production and compliance records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area supporting operational excellence and safety.
  • Support product handling, inventory movement, and railcar/truck loading/unloading activities.
  • Collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement and plant performance.
  • Follow all safety and environmental standards; identify and report potential hazards.

  • This position is designed and intended to be performed in Washington, Indiana.
What You\'ll Do
