Job summary

Qualifications

PhD with 5+ years, MS with 8+ years, or BA/BS with 10+ years in physics, chemistry, materials science, or related field.
Experience developing Python scripts and using Python libraries for data analysis and visualization.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
Strong technical foundation in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
Experience solving multivariable problems using advanced data-analysis methods.

Responsibilities

Develop physics-based process models and support virtual twins using Lam's internal software.
Apply plasma physics and process chemistry to identify root causes and insights.
Partner with process engineers to design studies, collect/model data, analyze results, and communicate findings.
Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user needs into requirements and user stories.
Support software releases and train new users.
Serve as the primary contact for assigned applications and ensure adoption and support.
