Job summary

The Associate Process Metallurgist will support sales, production, and other units in assessing capacity to meet defined customer specifications and will review production problems to provide recommended solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy, 3+ years in the metals industry, strong communication, and proven

Responsibilities

Assist with metallurgical expertise to meet customer specifications and solve product problems.
Collaborate with sales, lab, and layout to prepare bid proposals and guide material choices.
Develop product order requirements and cost-effective processing procedures.
Monitor capacity and processing factors affecting delivery.
