Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field as listed.
• 7+ years in process/metallurgical/manufacturing engineering in metals.
• Experience with cold strip mill processing of nickel, cobalt, stainless steel, or similar alloys.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience reviewing customer specs and industry standards for manufacturability.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement focused on material quality and process efficiency.
• Provide metallurgical support for cold rolling, thermal processing, cleaning, finishing.
• Analyze data to identify trends and assign corrective actions.
• Support disposition of nonconforming material and investigate failures.
• Communicate requirements clearly to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Develop and maintain standard processes, routings, and procedures.
• Provide shop floor technical support to resolve processing issues.
• Mentor engineers and support cross-functional teams.
