Job summary

Flux Resources, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Process Mechanical Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates and support senior staff in budgeting and market analysis. You will perform quantity takeoffs, develop should-cost estimates, and reconcile bids against project scope and current market conditions.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, maintaining organized cost data libraries and contributing to efficient project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent discipline.
• 5–10 years of estimating or related construction experience.
• Experience preparing detailed estimates and cost reconciliations from project docs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and specs to prepare cost estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from design/construction docs.
• Develop should-cost estimates and reconcile bids to scope and market conditions.
• Source current pricing from contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare reconciliations and communicate cost variances.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams.
