Job summary

Tempus is seeking a Process Manager for Lab Operations in Chicago to support new assay launches and drive process improvements across our clinical testing business. You will work with cross-functional teams to document needs, coordinate UAT, and help ensure timely delivery and quality across the testing pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep understanding of lab systems and workflows used across the testing pipeline.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate launch activities for internal tools and clinical tests.
  • Collect and document business and technical needs for software tools and operational procedures.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to scope and build requirements for internal operations and test delivery.
  • Assist in project tracking and status reporting, including timelines and stakeholder communication.
  • Investigate product and process issues, perform root cause analysis, and escalate to leadership.

Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
