Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd seeks a Process Maintenance Tech for a US NC life sciences CAPEX project. The role focuses on mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and reliability improvements on plant equipment, with compliance to GMP.

You will work on autoclaves, CIP systems, and related equipment, while issuing hot work permits and contributing to root-cause analyses to prevent recurring downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance of large-scale pharmaceutical equipment.

• Ability to use root cause analysis for equipment reliability.

Process Maintenance Tech (Process Equipment) – US, North Carolina – Initial 6-Month Contract – Life Sciences

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Process Maintenance Tech to support the delivery of their large-scale CAPEX project based near North Carolina. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

What you'll do:

• Performs mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to all plant equipment and systems (e.g., pumps, valves, agitators, fans, bearings, couplings, belt drivers, mechanical seals, hoists, hydraulics, pneumatics, on-off actuators, diaphragms, filters, fasteners, etc.)
• Performs simple to moderate (and advanced, as needed) mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for autoclaves, glasswashers, clean-in-place (CIP) systems, homogenizers, centrifuges, fermenters, chromatography columns, LPC skids, and vessels
• Issues hot work and confined space entry permits
• Supports analysis of equipment breakdown (failure analysis) to determine root cause and provides input to help eliminate future breakdowns

What you'll need:
