Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing pharmaceutical company in the RTP area in search of an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician. The role supports facility operations and production equipment on a 7pm-7am shift, maintaining critical systems and ensuring compliance with cGMP and company procedures.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of regulated environment maintenance experience, strong electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics and P&IDs while collaborating

Qualifications

• Pharma cGMP experience required.
• 6+ years maintaining production and/or utility equipment in a regulated environment.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, HVAC, boilers, and utilities.
• Support black and clean utilities, including WFI distribution.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Read electrical schematics and P&IDs to diagnose issues.
• Complete work orders and GMP documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, owners, and vendors to resolve issues.

Job description

Accentuate Staffing is assisted a growing pharmaceutical company in the RTP area who is searching for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 7pm-7am supporting facility operations and production equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining critical production and utility systems, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with cGMP standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment, HVAC systems, boilers, and facility utilities.
• Maintain and support black and clean utilities, including WFI distribution.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime and support production operations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and required GMP documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow established SOPs, cGMP requirements, and safety procedures.
• Work with engineering, equipment owners, and vendors to identify and resolve equipment issues.

Requirements:

• Prior pharmaceutical cGMP experience is required.
• 6+ years of maintenance experience supporting production and/or utility equipment in a regulated environment.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS and JCI Metasys.
• General OSHA safety knowledge.
• Experience with mills, lathes, or other machinist equipment.
