Job summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Maintenance Supervisor at our Carlin operation. You will lead a maintenance team, coach technicians, and drive safe, efficient execution of the maintenance plan in collaboration with production.
The role emphasizes safety, mentoring, and continuous improvement in maintenance strategies to meet equipment performance targets and ensure reliable plant operations across the site.
Qualifications
- Proven safety record and ability to support safety, environmental, equipment protection, and production goals.
- 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance function.
- supervisory or lead-person experience preferred.
- Technical training in maintenance and/or mechanics, diploma(s) or certificate(s) preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and contractors at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision and support of a crew of maintenance technicians
- Provide training and coaching for technicians
- Engage the process maintenance crew to ensure safe, efficient completion of the maintenance plan
- Establish and refine maintenance strategies for the area, in consultation with the production team
- Ensure Predictive Maintenance (PM) and other routine maintenance activities are completed and deliver equipment performance
- Work to develop a safe and productive crew
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned
