Job Title: Process Improvement Specialist (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt)

About EnDyna

EnDyna, Inc. is a trusted provider of training and development solutions for federal government agencies. We hold contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense, National Institute of Health & others in providing many different services.

EnDyna is bidding on a contract to reengineer the inter-federal-agency processes of environmental review and permitting. The solutions will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Position Overview

The Process Improvement Specialist will support and maintain the overall look of all Army Future Command’s apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to modernize permitting workflows for federal agencies. He/she will Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommends solutions.

This is a full-time hybrid role and will require the employee to work onsite in our Tysons office for a minimum of 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Designs and leads “as‑is” and “to‑be” process mapping workshops
• Applies Lean and SixSigma methodologies to identify waste, bottlenecks, and root causes
• Develops Kaizen events and continuous improvement roadmaps
• Trains EPA staff on process improvement tools (e.g., value‑stream mapping)
  
  

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related
• Lean SixSigma Black Belt certification
  
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience improving complex business or permitting processes
• Expertise with process‑mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
• Experience in federal rulemaking, NEPA processes, FAST-41 Act, environmental review, permitting, and inter-agency coordination a strong plus
