Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Springdale, AR to lead scrap reduction and cost-improvement initiatives. You will serve as the SME for key plant processes, plan data collection efforts, and present findings to support defect reduction and broader continuous improvement programs.

You will advise the maintenance team on troubleshooting and upgrading equipment, collaborating to improve performance and reliability while contributing to work standard design, quality control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive responsibility in problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
• Experience with rubber or plastic products is desirable.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (Minitab) and simulation tools (ARENA).

Responsibilities

• Lead scrap reduction and cost-improvement initiatives across value streams.
• Collect and present data to support defect reduction and continuous improvement.
• Advise maintenance on troubleshooting and equipment upgrades.
• Help design and implement work standards, QC charts, and SPC tools.
