Job summary

The Judge Group in Whitehall, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineering Leader to drive design and optimization of production flow, capacity utilization, and operational stability.

Candidates will lead efforts with ERP/MES systems, translate operational data into floor-level improvements, and communicate complex tradeoffs to leadership and frontline teams to sustain a lean, responsive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering (or related) with strong manufacturing focus
• Experience improving factory performance and production flow/capacity utilization
• Leadership experience and ability to manage teams
• Knowledge of Lean, TOC, queues and variation in production processes
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data-driven improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of production flow and capacity utilization
• Demonstrate and drive improvements in inventory management and operational stability
• Translate operational data into practical floor-level improvements
• Communicate complex operational tradeoffs to leadership and frontline teams
• Focus on sustainable flow and overall system performance rather than short-term metrics
