Job summary

Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica, Indiana, seeks an Industrial Engineer to evaluate and optimize work processes, determine workflows, time requirements, costs, and durations, and drive productivity improvements across manufacturing functions.

You will develop strategies and programs to raise efficiency, apply problem solving and productivity techniques including process mapping and cost time management, and train teams to sustain gains while following job work instructions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information to evaluate current work processes to determine flow, time requirements, costs, and duration.
• Develops strategies and programs that improve productivity and efficiency of various work processes.
• Applies industrial engineering problem solving and productivity techniques to evaluate improvement of recommended strategies and programs.
• Instructs others in continuous process improvements, including process mapping and cost time management.
• Develops and coordinates programs to recognize and reward groups or individuals for process-improvement suggestions and actions.
• Facilitates employee teams to build cohesiveness and improve team results.
• Follows job work instructions.
